It's okay to be a fool for love, but you don't have to let your lovers make a fool of you.

Life is just long enough to make plenty of mistakes, and just short enough to give you impetus to balance them out.

Sometimes what we thought were mistakes turn out not to be. Wait. Be patient. Observe.

If your heart breaks, be glad that you gave enough of yourself to allow that to happen. A heart is made to be filled, used, and occasionally broken. It will heal.

You are beautiful. Not everyone will see that, but as long as you know it, that's all that is important.

You are wise. This has nothing to do with smarts, books or anything else. There is wisdom in your bones. Use it.

As Mani used to say, "Any day you are above ground and taking in nourishment is a good day." Keep breathing, and take care of yourself. Today is all you have; yesterday is gone and tomorrow might not come.
