It's Not Over Yet

If every person who has wasted a few brain cells and a pocket full of money partying in New Orleans would open up their hearts and their wallets and send some assistance...
I am going to have to reinforce my personal filters, something I really don't like to do... but this is too close, and the energy is overwhelming. Things are actually getting worse as another levee has been breached in NOLA and the water is still rising, there and in MS. So many impassable roads and such a need for clean water, search and rescue. I can literally feel people screaming. Someone committed suicide in the Superdome today, just jumped off the second level and took a nosedive.
I really want to see people pick up the stick on this and support my faith in human nature. It is saddening to see such prurient excitement over tragedies in other countries and nearly nothing mentioned about what has to be one of the most devastating natural disasters I've ever seen right in my lap here.
Pardon me if I'm not too excited about everybody's daily dramas right now. There are a lot of dead people down here.
