Have found reference to new movie with Travolta called "A Love Song For Bobby Long" set in NOLA in which he is a decrepit drunk professor. His daughter, played by Scarlett Johansson, has been nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Acress for this. I want to see the movie, but I don't know how wide the release is going to be.

The website is annoying me because it has Flash, and as anyone who has used dial up knows, that bites the bones of the ancestors. I need to find a site that has a more easily accessible trailer but I can't remember the name of that trailer site I used to check out all the time, the one with the commercials on it.

EDIT: Screenplay based on Off Magazine Street by Ronald Everett Capps. Sounds like typical NOLA drunkard fare, which may or may not be a good sign... the jaded intellectual in a seedy city of broken dreams. Truth is, though, there are an awful lot of Bobby Longs in NOLA off Magazine.
