OK, that was my Neopets username (ha).

I'll go back and do "carocrow" when the server cools off.

EDIT: Here it is... and I think the script somehow makes it look like whoever is reading it is being compared to it (you should see your username on the right if you're logged in).

needing to brag about it. Creativity is one of
your strong suits. Your outward personality may
change drastically according to your mood,
which is not always a good thing. You're a

You are Strength. Your story is Beauty and the Beast.

Calmly showing strength under pressure - Patience and a quiet persistence - Courage and fortitude - Inner conviction of purpose - A quiet mind is stronger than physical force.

So - are you Beauty or her Beast with a heart of gold? The truth is that both of them show strength of character and a rare ability to get through hard times to reach a happy ending. You know that fortitude and courage have nothing to do with brute force; instead true strength comes from a good heart and a brave soul.

I don't think I'm that irascible, though, and condescending? Naw. BTW, those eyes in the graphic look an awful lot like mine. Mine are a darker green with that same copper ring around the pupil.

... Would it really smell as sweet if it was named Skunk Bush, or Stink Weed, or Prickle Fester?

OK... "Show me the money!" :-p

This certainly makes me sound all noble, and stuff. Success would be a nice change of pace, as long as I don't have to be famous in the conventional way. More in an eccentric, reclusive way.

Check out your own name here.

This is that Google search thing. I am enjoying it. Some of it is hilarious.

I don't consider myself beautiful at all. I have a sort of round balance; I guess I'm not unpleasant, I've never been kicked out of bed. I think my attractiveness is related to being soft and magnetic, not conventionally pretty.

All right. But I'm not challenging anyone else. I've been tagged twice, so I will go ahead and do it...note that I'm gauging these songs as the songs I'm most likely to be so totally into on the radio that I will cease to notice anyone else's presence and will begin singing at the top of my lungs, weeping, emoting, and perhaps all of the above. There are more, but these are off the top of my head.

List your 6 favorite songs (since I'm not challenging anyone, I'm going to do 12):

1. Norman Greenbaum -- Spirit in the Sky
2. Santana -- Oye Como Va
3. Roberta Flack -- The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face
4. CCR -- I Heard It Through The Grapevine
5. Simon & Garfunkel -- Scarborough Fair/Canticle
6. Bread -- If
7. Gordon Lightfoot -- Time in a Bottle
8. Blood, Sweat & Tears -- And When I Die
9. John Denver -- Annie's Song
10. Rolling Stones/Bette Midler -- Beast of Burden
11. Patsy Cline -- Crazy
12. Joe Cocker -- You Are So Beautiful

I know I'm dating myself, here. I do like a lot of popular music, classical, country, etc. also. But nobody asked for my Top 100 and I'm not sure I'd comply with a request :-p Any well considered list would also contain Cat Stevens and Jim Croce and a lot of bands, but I restrained myself. I hope this turns somebody on to listen to some oldies, though, and really listen to the lyrics. Some songs are dreck, but some are real poetry. For something completely different, try the Johnny Cash version of the Roberta Flack song, or the Marvin Gaye version of "Grapevine". Of course, I'm probably preaching to the choir.

Here's your special gift for playing... John Denver's Annie's Song: )

You are Commander's Palace, a grand old dame of the
Garden District. Traditional yet always
vibrant, you are never afraid of innovation but
you seldom carry it too far. Some locals claim
you have become a tourist trap, but your loyal
patrons know there is no restaurant in town
that treats its regulars with more finesse.
