Remember the old chant, "Hell No, We Won't Go"? Bob Herbert reminded me of it with his editorial, an appropriate followup to the article I posted recently about the rider in No Child Left Behind allowing recruiters free access to school children and how parents have become an important shield in preventing military indoctrination to seduce them into situations they may not want to be in. I saw a commercial today where a young man of color is pitching the Army to his mother as a way to pay for his education and "it's time I became a man". That makes me ill.

I made the front page of the LETTERS section on SciFi.com for rebutting a negative review of "Wizards".

I wish I had reviewed my letter a little better instead of doing it off the cuff. But don't diss the Bakshi, babe. Not Cool.
