My Name Is...
Jun. 26th, 2005 01:29 amI guess I never did tell you guys the results of the Name The Cat Poll...
Koji won with a majority of 16 votes; Kato came in at 9 and Sulu at 8. So his formal secret cat name is very long, but he is going to be called, for the sake of brevity, Koji the Cat. Thanks for playing along ;-)
As to what Koji means, it is a Japanese male name, and has various usages, one of which is the starter stuff that makes saki ferment. I'll agree that the little critter has that sort of grow on you moldy sort of esssence. He is very Siamesey, climbing and jumping and swinging and flopping around. He loves to play "lurk attack" and is a vigorous sandbox user, often digging all the way to the bottom and throwing the sand out on the floor.
Beneath the cut is a picture of Koji playing the fairy bells that hang behind the door. I'm sure we'll be getting a better picture of this, since it's a pastime he enjoys. He will grasp a bell, tug the string and make it ring, then let go of it and grab another. They all make slightly different sounds. Oh, and the gal who gave us this little bundle sent a photo of his mother, and I'll post that tomorrow.
