Sad loss of a talented woman. She had a "minor" accident while learning to ski. Carries a warning, even a seemingly benign head injury can lead to brain trauma; never ignore it, always get checked.
She starred in one of my favorite movies (though the movie is certainly not as good as the book), "The Handmaid's Tale". I have long encouraged women who are interested in the rights of women in patriarchy to both read the book and watch the movie.
She was my age, married to Liam Neeson, and had two sons with him. She was from an esteemed acting family and has left a hefty resume of stage and screen work.

This surprised me a little, particularly the high rating I got on Aussie Slang. The New England and Southern I can comprehend (LOL).
